Coverage Needed:

  • As soon as credentialed - ongoing
  • Preference is for locum providers to be open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated FSER's
  • 12 hour shifts
  • Locum providers must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends
  • Main hospital campus may consider less than 12hr shifts, affiliated FSED's require 12hr shifts

Clinical Information:

  • EMR: Meditech P-doc EMR and M-Modal Dictation
  • State of the art imaging, including CT, Ultrasound, and Radiology
  • Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed from FSED's will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists

Required:

  • DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
  • Current Flu Vaccine
  • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
    • Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in one of the following:
    • American Board of Emergency Medicine
    • American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine
  • Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered “Local”, and will not be eligible for this role
  • Active FL license
  • ATLS
