Medicus is collaborating with a medical center 20 minutes outside of Houston, Texas, with an opportunity for a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum coverage.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Schedule: 10 or 12-hour day and night shifts
- No call shifts required
- Trauma Designation: Level III
- Patient Census: 115 per day at main facility, 70 per day at free-standing ED
- Required Procedures: Intubation, central line, chest tube, conscious sedation, fracture reduction, laceration repair, and other typical ED procedures
- Support Staff: Physicians, APPs, nurses, techs, paramedics, security
- Board certification required
- Paid travel & expenses
