Job Summary:
The HCA Medical City Healthcare UNT-TCU GME Emergency Medicine Residency Program is seeking a Core Faculty and Ultrasound Director to join our team.Our residency program is based at Medical City Arlington, with residents rotating through Medical City North Hills, Medical City Dallas (Pediatric ER), and Medical City Denton. Medical City Arlington hosts primary residency programs in Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Emergency Medicine.
Our department maintains a strong academic presence within the HCA Medical City Healthcare UNT-TCU GME consortium, with a proven track record of research publications and national conference presentations at SAEM, CORD, and ACEP. We provide a dedicated research infrastructure, along with personalized support for manuscript preparation and journal submissions. Our educational program is innovative and simulation-based, incorporating cutting-edge teaching methodologies.
As part of this role, you will promote and support ultrasound training of both faculty and residents for Emergency Medicine and other North Texas GME training programs. Additionally, you will perform other duties associated with core faculty responsibilities to include ultrasound didactics, trainings, faculty development, research and scholarship, and other administrative support functions as requested by the Emergency Medicine Program Director.
Qualified Candidates:
- Must be board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine and/or Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Require at least one year of prior Core Faculty experience in an Emergency Residency program
- Join the only Emergency Medicine program located in the mid-cites of DFW
- Be part of a three-year residency program with eight residents per year
- Work in the Emergency Department at Medical City Arlington, a Level II Trauma Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation, and a Comprehensive Stroke Center, serving 90,000 patients annually
