Job Title: Locum - Emergency Medicine Physician

This facility accommodates an annual volume of approximately 24,500-25,500 patients, with daily averages ranging from 55-60. The modern emergency department features 17 beds and operates with a dedicated and compassionate team. As a locum physician, you'll have the opportunity to work both in Cambridge and O'Bleness, providing essential healthcare and enhancing your professional experience in a supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to a diverse patient population.
• Participate in both day and night shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a).
• Assess and treat patients with varying conditions in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using MediTech EMR.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine required.
• 2+ years of recent emergency medicine experience.
• Valid Ohio state medical license or IMLC with proof of LOQ.
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
• NRP certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.

License and Certification Requirements

• Current Ohio medical license (or IMLC with proof of LOQ).
• BLS, ACLS certification required.
• Board Certified status required.
• COVID vaccination required.
• Malpractice insurance included in hourly rate.
• Clean background required.
