Emergency Medicine Physician (Locum Tenens)
Location: Cambridge, OH/Athens, OH

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverag. This position requires a commitment of at least 5 shifts per month.

Key Details:

• Start Date: March 2025 (credentialing required: 45-60 days)
• Shift Schedule:
  • Physician Shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
  • APP Shifts: 9:00 AM–9:00 PM, 11:00 AM–11:00 PM, 2:00 PM–2:00 AM
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• On Call: Not required
• Annual Volume: 24,500–25,500 visits
• Facility Details:
  • Number of Beds: 17
  • EMR System: MediTech
  • Transfer Locations: Riverside, Grant, Genesis, OSU, Aultman (OB)
  • Transfer Rate: 4.94%

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $260/hour

Requirements:

• Education: Must be Board Certified by ABMS/AOA (double board certification by ABPS is acceptable)
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Medicine
• Licensure: Active Ohio license – REQUIRED (IMLC not accepted)
• Certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • COVID-19 vaccination – REQUIRED

Additional Notes:

• Providers must be available for a minimum of 5 shifts per month consistently
• Credentialing timeline is 45–60 days
