• Shift times: 5:30am-3:30pm, 10am-9pm, 2pm-1am, 8pm-6am

• Number of beds: 120
• ED: 39 beds + 10 hall beds as needed
• Average Patient Census: 64-135
• Daily Admissions: 14
• Average acuity
• Support Staff: RNs, LPNs, techs, RTs
• Annual ER Admissions: 4,927
• Responsible for overseeing APPs on shift
• EMR: Meditech
• Daily admissions: 10-12% admission rate from the ED
• Level III trauma center
• Trauma surgeon support on level 1 traumas
• Typical ED procedures including intubation, central line placement, chest tube placement, suture, I&D, conscious sedation (peds/adults), fracture/joint reduction (peds/adults), cardioversion, US FAST exams, etc
• Common cases: Chest pain, abdominal pain, vomiting, pregnancy related issues, trauma, ortho injuries, pediatrics, shortness of breath, etc

Required:

• DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
• Current Flu Vaccine
• Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
  • Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
• Board Certified in one of the following:
  • American Board of Emergency Medicine
  • American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine
• Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered “Local”, and will not be eligible for this role
• Active TN License and DEA
• Willing to consider new grads
