We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage. This opportunity involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level 4 Trauma Center with the flexibility of short-term coverage.
  • Provide emergency medical care to 12-15 patients per shift.
  • Collaborate with support staff, including RNs, a PA/NP, and office personnel, to deliver optimal care.
  • Utilize the Epic EMR system for documentation and patient records.
  • Respond to emergency situations with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Work night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) as scheduled, including holidays if applicable.
  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (required).
  • Active medical license in Montana or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
  • Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP.
  • Experience in emergency medicine with no supervision requirements for residents or advanced practice providers.
  • ractice Setting: Inpatient care only.
  • Facility Trauma Level: 4
  • Support services, such as general surgery, radiology, and anesthesia, are available 24/7.

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications

Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (required).
Active medical license in Montana or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).

Working Hours

12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Specific shifts: January 31 (night), February 14-16 (night), February 23-25 (night).

Skills

Proficiency in emergency medicine procedures and patient management.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred.
Ability to deliver care in a fast-paced environment.
