• General Emergency Medicine procedures as expected for an ER physician, including trauma and stroke management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Texas State Medical License
• Certifications:
• ACLS (AHA approved)
• ATLS (AHA approved)
• PALS (AHA approved)
• NRP (AHA approved)
• Experience:
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or Family Medicine (ABFM) or Internal Medicine (ABIM) with 2 years ER experience
• Residency trained in specialty
• Additional Requirements:
• CDS & DEA with Texas address
• CME from the past 2 years
• Case logs from the past 2 years
• Copies of all education and training diplomas
• Social Security Card, Driver's License, and color photo emailed to MSO
• Annual requirements: 9 hours of Stroke CME and 9 hours of Trauma CME
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in the ER setting.
• Perform necessary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the scope of Emergency Medicine.
• Collaborate with specialty backups and support staff as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all hospital and departmental policies.
