A healthcare clinic in Texas is currently seeking a Pediatrician or Family Medicine Physician to join their team. This role focuses on providing care to pediatric patients while supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in a supportive and collaborative clinic environment.

About the Opportunity:

• Hybrid or Remote: Onsite only
• Shift: Day shift/ one per month
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Setting: Pediatric clinic with adjacent urgent care facility

Responsibilities:

The Pediatrician or Family Medicine Physician will be responsible for:

• Providing direct patient care for pediatric patients (ages 4-17), focusing on ADHD medication management, including Schedule 2 drugs
• Conducting patient visits with 15-minute slots for established patients and 30-minute slots for new patients
• Supervising 4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) by performing chart reviews and offering clinical guidance
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team using Athena EMR system
• Ensuring adherence to high-quality clinical standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (preferred in pediatrics or family medicine)
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Active Texas Medical License and DEA Registration
• Proficiency in ADHD medication management, including Schedule 2 drugs
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Team-oriented, approachable, and adept with technology

Desired Skills:

• Experience in a pediatric clinical setting
• Board Certification in Pediatrics or Family Medicine
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
