REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Emergency and Trauma Stabilization
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Texas Medical License
• Certifications: AHA-approved ACLS, ATLS, NRP, and PALS
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Medicine (or IM/FM with relevant experience)
• Other Qualifications:
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or Internal Medicine/Family Medicine (ABIM/ABFM)
• Recent CME (9 hours Stroke CME, 9 hours Trauma CME annually)
• Case logs from the past two years
• Copies of all educational and training diplomas
• Social Security Card, Driver’s License, and a recent color photo
• Compliance with TB/Flu requirements
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Perform emergency procedures as required
• Collaborate with support staff and specialty backups to manage patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
• Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory compliance standards
