We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality care in a Level II trauma center with robust support staff and state-of-the-art facilities.

Physicians will work in a collaborative setting with advanced practice providers (APPs) ensuring seamless patient care. This part-time position involves 12-hour shifts in a double-coverage setup using Cerner EMR for documentation.
  • Provide expert care for emergency department patients with a daily census of 55-60.
  • Perform standard physician procedures within the emergency department.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated APP during mid-shifts for oversight and care coordination.
  • Manage cases involving general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, cardiology, infectious disease, and PRN urology.
  • Coordinate transfer for specialized services not available on-site (e.g., ERCP, neuro, vascular, cardiothoracic, and gastroenterology).
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with EMR systems.

Working Hours

Shift Length: 12 hours (10 a.m. to 10 p.m.).
Coverage: Double-coverage shifts with no solo responsibilities.
Estimated Shifts/Month: 20 shifts.
