Your role as facility medical director:
- Provide both clinical and administrative leadership for emergency medicine services
- Partner with the assistant facility medical director to ensure collaborative and effective leadership
- Oversee and mentor a team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with physicians, hospital administration, and staff
- Participate in key hospital and TeamHealth meetings to shape clinical strategies and workflows
- Board certification: family medicine (FM) or internal medicine (IM) with EM experience, or emergency medicine residency trained
- Leadership experience: proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with a minimum of 2 years in emergency medicine practice
