**Locums Urgent Care - Springfield, MO**
**Coverage Need**
- Assignment Dates: ASAP, ongoing
**Position Details**
- Schedule:
- Monday-Friday: 8 AM-8 PM (12-hour shifts)
- Saturday-Sunday: 9 AM-5 PM (8-hour shifts, may transition to 12-hour shifts)
- Practice Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care
- Patients Per Shift: 30-50
- EMR System: Epic
- Locations: Springfield, MO, and Joplin, MO centers
- Admissions Required: No
- Will Facility Accept Multiple Providers: Yes
**Submissions Requirements**
- Active state license not required to bid
- Must be residency trained and BC (BE if within 5 years of residency) in FP, IM/Peds or ED BY AMBS (American Board of Medical Specialties or AOB American Osteopathic Board)
- Clean history
- BLS: Required (must be current from the American Heart Association)
- Must show proof of 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months
- Must be comfortable with EMR (Epic experience preferred)
- Willingness to work with MAs, scribes, and rad techs as support staff
**Skill Requirements**
- Must be comfortable with minor procedures:
- Sutures
- Casts
- Splints
- I&Ds
- Reading EKGs and X-rays
- Pediatric Care:
- Infant (30 days1 year): Required
- Toddler (12 years): Required
- Child (313 years): Required
- Adolescent (1318 years): Required
**Additional Notes**
- Providers must be willing to work 12-hour shifts and cover a significant number of shifts, including weekends and weekdays.
- Providers must see patients 6 months and older for urgent care needs.
- State-of-the-art urgent care centers with lab and mobile X-ray access.
