Locums Urgent Care - Springfield, MO Coverage Need

  • Assignment Dates: ASAP, ongoing
Position Details Schedule: - Monday-Friday: 8 AM-8 PM (12-hour shifts) - Saturday-Sunday: 9 AM-5 PM (8-hour shifts, may transition to 12-hour shifts) Practice Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care Patients Per Shift: 30-50 EMR System: Epic Locations: Springfield, MO, and Joplin, MO centers Admissions Required: No Will Facility Accept Multiple Providers: Yes Submissions Requirements Must be residency trained and BC (BE if within 5 years of residency) in FP, IM/Peds or ED BY AMBS (American Board of Medical Specialties or AOB American Osteopathic Board) Clean history BLS: Required (must be current from the American Heart Association) Must show proof of 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months Must be comfortable with EMR (Epic experience preferred) Willingness to work with MAs, scribes, and rad techs as support staff Must be Board Certified Skill Requirements Must be comfortable with minor procedures: - Sutures - Casts - Splints - I&Ds - Reading EKGs and X-rays Pediatric Care: - Infant (30 days - 1 year): Required - Toddler (1 - 2 years): Required - Child (3 - 13 years): Required - Adolescent (13 - 18 years): Required Additional Notes Providers must be willing to work 12-hour shifts and cover a significant number of shifts, including weekends and weekdays. Providers must see patients 6 months and older for urgent care needs. State-of-the-art urgent care centers with lab and mobile X-ray access.
