Position Overview

This facility is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum coverage. Physicians with current certification in another specialty may also qualify to work in the Emergency Medicine Department, provided they meet additional requirements.

Schedule

• Start Date: Monday, March 3, 2025

• End Date: Sunday, June 30, 2025

• Hours: 200 hours/month, covering 20 shifts/month

• Shift Variations:

  • 6a-3p

  • 8a-5p

  • 9a-5p

  • 12p-8p

  • 2p-11p

  • 4p-12a

  • 4p-1a

  • 10p-6a

• Flexibility: Providers must be adaptable to varying shift schedules

• Annual Patient Volume: 54,000

Requirements

• Board Status: Board Certified (Emergency Medicine preferred)

  • Non-EM boarded physicians must hold current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications and complete a moderate sedation education module.

• Licensure: Active Pennsylvania medical license

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years

• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS

• DEA Registration: Required
