The Department of Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) invites applications for faculty positions at all academic ranks. VUMC’s Department of Emergency Medicine is a leader in clinical care, education, and research, with over 100 faculty members across six divisions: operations, EMS, global emergency medicine, research, simulation, and ultrasound. VUMC serves over 200,000 patients annually and is home to one of the nation’s most productive and impactful emergency care research divisions. The department provides a dynamic and collaborative environment with numerous opportunities for professional development.

Job Responsibilities
· Engage in educational activities, including training residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical settings.
· Participate in academic research, with opportunities for involvement in funded projects through the NIH/NHLBI VISTA T32 program, focusing on hospital-based care for heart, lung, blood, and sleep disorders.
· Contribute to division-specific initiatives in areas such as global health, simulation, operations, and emergency medicine research
Qualifications
· DEA
· Experience or interest in academic medicine, including clinical operations, education, and research.
· Expertise in global health, simulation, operations, or research is highly desirable.
· Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
