Coverage Details:
• Coverage needed per month: needs 12x 12hr shifts per month, preferably night shifts. 3x 12hr shifts per week is fine, or back to back 12hr shifts. 7p-7a schedule.
• No Call.
• Schedule Details: 7p-7a typically.
Work Details:
• Support staff: Hospitalists, occasionally on site. Typically though, this will be solo coverage.
• Patient Volume: 8500 visits per year
• Patient Age Group: all ages (infant-geriatric)
• EMR/Documentation System: Cerner
Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: ABEM highly preferred, will consider IM/FM if trained with Emergency experience
• State License(s) / IMLC Req’d?: MO license required
• Certifications Req’d?: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Specific Skills Req’d?: Emergency experience, solo confidence
• DEA Req’d?: Yes
• Minimum Experience Req’d: 1-2 years of experience in ER
Privileging Timeframe: ~ 60 days to credential, temps possible if there is a clean file
Travel: standard airfare; rental car OR mileage; lodging
