Job Summary:

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for our HCA Florida Champions Gate FSED in Davenport, FL.

Qualified Candidates:

  • Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine via the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM)
  • OR Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with two years of Emergency Medicine experience.

About Champions Gate FSER:

  • 9,000 ER visits per year (25 patients per day)
  • 12 emergency room bays, including a fully equipped Trauma bay
  • Separate pediatric waiting area, triage, and a dedicated bay
  • State of the art imaging on-site, including CT, ultrasound, and X-ray

About HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital:
Opened in 2013, HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is a four-story, 177,000 sq. ft. hospital with 94 private beds, a 12-bed private ICU, and 31-bed emergency department
We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, inpatient and outpatient surgery, cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services
Our ED is approximately 19,500 sq. ft. and consists of 31 private treatment rooms, an EMS entrance, and a helicopter pad
