The Emergency Medicine Physician is responsible for providing immediate medical care to patients in emergency situations. This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide variety of acute medical conditions and injuries, coordinating with healthcare teams, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during critical moments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess and stabilize patients in emergency situations.
• Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation of patient care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive treatment plan.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment options.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications:

• MUST be boarded ABMS/AOA IM/FM (can be double boarded ABPS) - REQUIRED
• MUST have 2+ years of recent ED experience - REQUIRED
• NRP - REQUIRED
• Ohio License REQUIRED, not accepting IMLC
• Covid Vaccination REQUIRED
• Clean background - no malpractice

Working Hours:

• EMR: EPIC
• Annual Volume: 30,000
• Physician Shifts: 7 AM - 7 PM, 7 PM - 7 AM
• APP Shifts: 9 AM - 9 PM & 5 PM - 5 AM
• Number of Beds: 21
