Schedule: Shift Times: 9a-6p, 6p-2a
Program Details: Annual Patient Volume:
  • Total ED: 52,000
  • Pediatric ED: 11,000 (approximately 31 patients/day)
  • Patients per Hour: Currently 1.3; estimated 1.6 with the new schedule
  • ED Bed Count:
    • Total ED: 62 beds
    • Pediatric ED: 12 beds
    • EMR System: EPIC
    • ED physicians are not responsible for inpatient orders; all pediatric admissions are transferred out
    • Level II Trauma Center, trauma surgeon on-site 24/7 Requirements:
    • Board certification required (PEM preferred)
    • Credentialing will be expedited to meet the February 1, 2025 start date Benefits:
