Lake Huron Medical Center, a community-focused hospital in beautiful Port Huron, MI, is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our dynamic team.

🔹 Position Highlights:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts (days/nights available)
  • Team Structure: 1 Physician + 1 APP per shift
  • Patient Volume: 53 visits per day
  • Trauma: None – community hospital setting
  • EMR: EPIC

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a community hospital setting.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute medical conditions and injuries.
Collaborate with the on-site Advanced Practice Provider (APP) during shifts to ensure efficient patient care.
Effectively manage a patient volume of approximately 53 visits per day.
Work closely with nursing staff, consultants, and the care team to deliver coordinated care.
Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical protocols.
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and next steps.
