We are seeking skilled and board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians for locum tenens coverage. This position provides an opportunity to deliver quality care in a supportive, well-resourced setting, located on the beautiful Oregon coast.
  • Support Services: Includes anesthesia, general surgery, radiology, orthopedic surgery, and a dedicated L&D department.
  • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90 days (temporary privileges not available)

Job Responsibilities

Deliver patient-centered care in a 25-bed Emergency Department.
Manage an average of 15 patients per shift in a trauma level 4 facility.
Provide emergency medical treatment for both adult and pediatric patients.
Work collaboratively with hospital staff, including support services available 24/7.
Utilize the Epic EMR system for accurate and timely documentation.

Qualifications

Board Eligible/Certified in Emergency Medicine.
Active Oregon State Medical License.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP required.
Experience:
Proven experience in emergency care preferred.
Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours

Schedule: Around 9 shifts per month.
Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts.
Holidays: Coverage required for major U.S. holidays, including New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
