Providence Medical Group (PMG) - Oregon is seeking an experienced, board-certified Emergency Medicine physician to lead Providence Seaside Hospital’s 24-hour emergency department. Join a mission-driven team of six board-certified emergency medicine physicians. In addition to direct patient care, you will have a defined leadership role as Medical Director, overseeing a newly renovated and expanded emergency department with modern facilities, including nine treatment rooms, two enhanced patient safety rooms, and triage space. The hospital includes 24/7 OB, anesthesia, hospitalist, and general surgery coverage, as well as 24/7 CT and X-ray services. - Flexible FTE: 0.60 - 0.75 FTE clinical + 0.25 FTE medical director, 12-hour shifts
- Emergency department averages 9,000 visits annually
- Dedicated time for leadership responsibilities includes quality improvement projects, supervision, and administration. You'll also have mentorship and support from the current medical director during a transition period
- Must have at least two years of practice experience and be board-certified in Emergency Medicine. Leadership experience preferred
