We are seeking a committed Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality emergency care in an inpatient setting while collaborating with a skilled healthcare team. The facility utilizes Epic EMR for seamless documentation and patient management.

  • Pediatric Level: 0.

  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days.

Job Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care in a 12-bed Emergency Department, managing an average of 15 patients per shift.
Work 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) as part of a 10-14 shifts per month schedule, typically in 5-7 day stretches.
Handle admissions and coordinate care with hospital staff.
Supervise Advance Practice Providers as required.
Ensure documentation accuracy and maintain compliance with hospital protocols.
Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including 3 RNs and additional support staff.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree with Board Eligibility or Certification in Emergency Medicine.
Active Missouri medical license required.
DEA license required.
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Emergency Medicine preferred.

Working Hours

Start Date: February 3, 2025.
Ongoing shifts, 7 PM - 7 AM.
Includes weekends and holidays as necessary.
