We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician for a short-term locum tenens assignment. This role provides an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality emergency care in a dynamic outpatient setting. The facility is equipped with MediTech EMR and supported by experienced healthcare professionals.

Trauma Level: 2.

Pediatric Level: 0.

Facility Support Staff: Includes 2-3 RNs and 1 PA.

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days.

Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates.

Compensation: Competitive rates; facility housing preferred if available.
Job Responsibilities
Manage an average of 36 patients per day during 12-hour shifts (8 AM - 8 PM).
Collaborate with and support a multidisciplinary team, including RNs and a PA (available Monday to Friday, 1 PM - 9 PM).
Handle admissions as needed and ensure accurate documentation using MediTech EMR.
Participate in onsite orientation and maintain effective communication with the facility staff.
Qualifications
Active Michigan medical license required.
DEA license required.
Certifications: BLS.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Emergency Medicine preferred.
Working Hours
Clinical shifts from 8 AM - 8 PM.
Schedule includes weekdays and weekends.
Skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MediTech EMR preferred.
Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
