We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage. This ongoing assignment offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality emergency care in a collaborative inpatient setting. The facility is equipped with EPIC EMR and supported by a skilled team of healthcare professionals.

Job Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional emergency care to patients in a 6-bed department.
Manage an average of 12-15 patients per shift.
Collaborate with and provide guidance to a multidisciplinary team, including RNs, PAs, and office staff.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR.
Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree with Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.
Active Montana medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) certification.
DEA license required.
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Emergency Medicine.

Working Hours

Scheduled clinical hours only.
Holiday coverage includes New Year’s Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
12 hour shifts, either 7a-7p or 7p-7a

Skills

Strong clinical expertise in Emergency Medicine.
Effective communication and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in EPIC EMR preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
