We are seeking two skilled Emergency Medicine Physicians for locum tenens coverage. This long-term assignment offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment in a facility equipped with MediTech EMR and a dedicated support team. This role is ideal for physicians seeking flexible scheduling with no outpatient or inpatient admissions required.
Job Responsibilities
Manage approximately 27-28 patients per shift in an 11-bed department.
Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (PAs/NPs).
Ensure timely and accurate documentation using MediTech EMR.
Respond promptly to calls and provide care within a 30-minute response time.
Perform required procedures and coordinate with available support services (e.g., laboratory, radiology).
Qualifications
Active Oklahoma medical license required.
DEA license required.
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, and PALS.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Emergency Medicine.
ERCP proficiency preferred.
Working Hours
Must provide a minimum of 7 days of coverage per month.
Flexible scheduling, including holiday coverage (New Year’s Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day).
Skills
Ability to manage high patient volumes effectively.
Proficiency in MediTech EMR preferred.
Strong communication and decision-making skills.
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
