- Level I Trauma Center with 350 inpatient beds
- The two Emergency Departments average approximately 70,000 patients annually with a high level of acuity and complexity
- It is staffed by approximately 34 full time physicians and advanced practitioners with full support from nursing, support staff and scribes
- Both ERs are located in very desirable communities approximately 12-15 miles from downtown Boston
- A 45,000-square-foot facility with 43 private rooms, four trauma bays, and a fast-track
- An Emergency Radiology program with Radiologists dedicated to the ER patient imaging with two imbedded CT scanners and x-ray
- A behavioral health unit where social workers and psychiatric staff can see patients in a private and safe manner
- Close proximity to the surgical ICU and the operating room
- A dedicated decontamination unit for patients with chemical and radiation exposure
- An ER pharmacy where patients can fill their prescriptions before they leave
