The opportunity to work with TeamHealth at Abrazo Scottsdale Campus offers an excellent environment for emergency medicine (EM) physicians looking to grow their careers while maintaining a solid work-life balance.

About the Role:
  • Annual Volume: With 26,500 visits per year and a 12% admission rate, the ED offers a moderate pace with the chance to handle a variety of cases, providing both challenge and opportunities for professional growth.
  • 23 ED Beds: The department is appropriately sized, allowing for efficient management of patients without overwhelming the staff.
  • Physician and APC Coverage: With 24 hours of physician coverage and 20 hours of advanced practice clinician (APC) coverage, the team is well-supported, ensuring balanced workloads and collaborative care.
  • EMR: The department uses Cerner, with Dragon dictation, which enhances workflow and efficiency.
  • Flexibility: One of the standout features of this role is the flexibility to work across the eight other EDs within the Abrazo Health network, offering variety in terms of shift preferences, patient acuity, and income potential.
Ideal candidates will be board certified/eligible in EM or board certified/eligible in family medicine (FM)/internal medicine (IM) with significant ED experience. This opportunity provides a supportive environment with access to TeamHealth's vast network of resources, tools, and clinical knowledge.
