Hi there! This is Jason from ProTouch Medical.
We are in search of a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician for Stark County, North Dakota. The region is located in the Southwestern corner of the State. (On the picturesque Montana side.)
The ideal Provider will be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and either have an active license in North Dakota to practice medicine, or have their *IMLC LOQ in-hand.
*IMLC LOQ = Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification.
(If you have not looked into IMLC, it is an absolute door-opener. I highly recommend it!)

Location: Stark County, North Dakota
Job Type: Locum / Contract
Duration of Assignment: 12/21/2024 - ongoing
Shifts: days: 7a-7p; nights 7p-7a
Practice Details:
- 1.5 patients per hour on average
- 12 hours of mid-level assistance during peak hours
- EMR - Meditech
- Must be comfortable with all ages
- A minimum of 250 case logs in the last year
- The state of ND requires ATLS for any EM provider practicing in the state
- Must be comfortable with all procedures (Intubations, Chest Tubes, Central Lines, Critical Care, Procedural Sedation, Airway Management OB/GYN and Deliveries, Adult and Pediatric resuscitation).
- Feels more like a big hospital, but it's actually a critical access hospital. A lot of support staff that you find at a bigger hospital.
- Credentialing timeline; 4 weeks, or shorter. Will do temps.
Requirements:
- Must have PALS, ATLS, ACLS
- ABEM preferred; FM/IM with extensive ED experience including Trauma (at least 3 years with a minimum of 250 case logs in the last calendar year, prior work in level II trauma center or academic center).
- Required to be boarded
- Active ND license or IMLC required - license preferred
