Guthrie's Emergency Medicine team is seeking Core Faculty to serve as residency Director of Evidence Based Medicine
Highlights of the opportunity
- Director of Evidence Based Medicine will lead by employing a scholarly approach to patient care, systems-based practice, and population health
- Help initiate or foster scholarly activity projects with learners using evidentiary techniques
- Evaluate residents/fellows through direct observation and other relevant evaluation methods using competency-based milestone evaluations
- Practice variability working clinically at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, our Level I Trauma Center, and Guthrie Corning Hospital, our Level III Trauma Center
- Brand new state-of-the-art Emergency Department

- Compensation $405,600+
- $100k starting bonus or $200k loan repayment

Candidate Requirements
- Unwavering commitment to our mission of improving health through clinical excellence and compassion; every patient, every time
- ABEM or AOBEM certification or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- 3 years’ experience in ACGME accredited program program and 3 years of clinical experience preferred
- Fellowship trained in Research, Masters or PhD in Public Heath are ideal but not required

- $3,400 annually for conference registration certifications membership fees for specialty-specific medical societies
- Teaching opportunities with Guthrie's residency and fellowship programs offer the opportunity for clinical academic appointments. Guthrie is a regional campus for the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.
