- Volume: 38K annually
- Setting: Modern ED with private rooms, comprehensive specialty support, and minimal boarding
- Requirements: Board-certified in Emergency Medicine
- Features: 24/7 critical care, OB, pediatrician, and anesthesia support; full range of medical and surgical specialties backup; non-trauma designated

- Volume: 22-23K annually
- Acuity: High, focusing on levels 1, 2, 3
- Requirements: Board-certified in Emergency Medicine
- Features: STEMI and Joint Commission Primary Care Stroke Center, full in-house ICU and major specialties coverage, minimal boarding

Job Responsibilities
Manage Patient Flow: Ensure efficient patient flow through the emergency department to minimize wait times and boarding.
Collaboration and Supervision: Work closely with a team of APPs, residents from various specialties, and other healthcare professionals to provide top-notch emergency care.
Procedural Skills: Perform essential emergency procedures including but not limited to intubation, central line placement, and point-of-care ultrasound.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Meditech EMR; comply with hospital policies and procedures.
Quality Improvement: Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and education to enhance patient care and departmental efficiencies.
Qualifications
Licensure: Valid state medical license and in good standing with medical board.
Certification: Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
Experience: Proven experience in emergency medicine with the ability to handle a full range of cases including high acuity situations.
