ER Physician – Nocturnist Opportunity
Shifts: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Night Shifts)
Compensation: $270 per night (1099 contract)
Seeking a dedicated and skilled ER Physician to join our team as a Nocturnist. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-volume emergency department in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
You will work overnight shifts (8:00 PM – 6:00 AM), providing quality care to a diverse patient population in Riverdale, GA, just 19 minutes south of downtown Atlanta.
Our emergency department sees approximately 46,000 patients annually and is supported by a talented Advanced Practice Provider (APP) working from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population during overnight shifts.
Manage a variety of emergency medical conditions and collaborate with an APP to ensure patient care is timely and effective.
Utilize Meditech for patient documentation and information management.
Maintain excellent communication with staff, patients, and families to ensure comprehensive care.
Participate in emergency department operations, case reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (or related specialty).
Licensed to practice in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
Experience in a high-volume ER setting is preferred, though new graduates are welcome to apply.
Proficient in the use of Meditech or similar electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Ability to work independently during nocturnal hours and collaborate with a team of healthcare providers.
