Emergency Medicine Physician
Emergency Department
- ED Volume: 19,000
- 17-bed ED
- 24-hour physician coverage with flex APP coverage daily
- 15% admit rate
- Specialty backup includes general surgery, orthopedic, pediatrics, OB/Gyn, Urology, and 24/7 in house hospitalists
- Full radiology services and bedside ultrasound in the ED
- EPIC EMR
- ED has access to OBS unit

Community
Canon City, with a population of 16,400, is located along the Arkansas River in southern Colorado. At an elevation of 5300 ft., it enjoys a mild climate year-round. Area activities include white water rafting, excellent fly-fishing, hunting, mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, and nearby skiing. Canon City has easy access to the metropolitan areas of Pueblo and Colorado Springs only 45 minutes away, and Denver is 1 1/2 hours away.

Salary
- Excellent compensation package with an estimated employed W-2 range of $140/hour to $250/hour. PLUS, industry-leading benefits including: $75,000 of Equity Ownership given to all full-time physicians after 2 years of employment, up to $35,000/year from our 10% company-funded 401(k), $4,000/year of tax-free BEA/CME ($6,500 plus State and DEA license fees in year one for new graduates), 100% Paid Parental leave, 100% Paid Military leave, Comprehensive Medical/Dental/Vision/Rx coverage, Short- and Long-term disability (own occupation) and Medical Malpractice with tail and free litigation support.
