Your Role As Facility Medical Director:
- Provide both clinical and administrative leadership for emergency medicine (EM) services
- Opportunity to partner with our assistant facility medical director, ensuring collaborative and effective leadership
- Oversee and mentor a team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians
- Develop and sustain relationships with physicians, hospital administration, and staff
- Participate in key hospital and TeamHealth meetings to shape clinical strategies and workflows
- Collaborate with TeamHealth and St. Francis Hospital leadership to ensure the highest standards of care
- 22-bed ED with an annual patient volume of 34,000
- Diverse acuity levels and access to most backup specialties
- Manageable pace of 1.9 patients per hour with a 12% admission rate
- Supported by 34 hours of daily physician coverage and 30 hours of APC coverage
- Advanced documentation with EPIC EMR
- Flat hourly rate for clinical hours
- Monthly medical director stipend
