We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Sebring, FL. The Locums Emergency Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans. Our emergency department features an annual ED volume of 18,000 patients and has 13 beds. We offer single physician coverage with shifts from 7a-7p and 7p-7a. Additionally, there is 8-hour APP coverage in the off-season and 10-hour APP coverage during the season. We have a 15% admit rate and a dedicated Senior ER. The MEDHOST EMR system is utilized for patient records.
Qualifications:
- Board-Certified in ABEM (American Board of Emergency Medicine) or AOBEM (American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine).
- Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Florida.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) certifications.
