Facility in Bay City, MI seeking Emergency Medicine locums coverage


Rate: $330/Hr

Job Details:

  • Patient Volume: 80 patients per day, with 1.8 patients per hour for physicians.

  • Support Staff: APP available for 12 hours, full ED support with nursing and tech staff, along with full radiology and lab support.

  • EHR: Cerner.

Procedures/Skills Required:

  • Family Medicine Skills:

    • Adult and pediatric outpatient care.

    • Newborn resuscitation.

    • Orthopedics for non-displaced fractures.

    • Suturing of minor lacerations, incision & drainage.

    • Uncomplicated psychiatric care for adults, children/adolescents, and geriatrics.

    • Diagnosis & management of common industrial-related medical problems.

    • Ventilation management for up to 24 hours without pulmonary consultation.

    • Acute volume/BP management.

    • Central and arterial lines.

    • EKG interpretation, arthrocentesis, lumbar puncture, paracentesis.

    • Emergency-related procedures.

Billing Details:

  • Reverse Billing: Provider must clock in/out using Kronos. No timesheets will be approved.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified (No BE) – Required.

  • MI License – Required at the time of name clear, no exceptions.

  • BLS Certification – Required.

  • Local Provider – Required, no exceptions.

  • Clean Background – Required for quick credentialing.

  • Availability for listed dates – Required.

Certification Requirements:

  • Board Certified.

  • BLS.

State License Requirements:

  • Michigan.
