Hi there! This is Jason from ProTouch Medical.

We are in search of an Emergency Medicine Physician for rural Northeast Oregon, near the Idaho Border
to start ASAP for a minimum of 6 shifts per month.

The ideal Candidate will be ABEM or ABFM, enjoy rural medicine and have a minimum of 2 years experience in the ED. If a local Provider cannot be found, this client will accept Providers with their IMLC LOQ in-hand and the willingness to obtain OR licensure.

Protouch covers malpractice w/ tail.

Job Type: Locum/Contract

Shifts: 24 hour shifts

Work setting:

  • Onsite
  • Outpatient
  • Single ED physician covers 24 hours shifts.
  • Average patient volume is 21 per 24 hour shift.
  • Vast majority of the patients are Level 3,4 or 5 (72%).

Provider Support:

  • Primary care coverage of inpatient care 24/7.
  • Effective telestroke program well established.
  • Single call to Medical Access Center for transfers/physician consultation.
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Credentialing timeframe: 2-3 months

Requirements:

  • Board Certified - ABEM / ABFM)
  • Active OR license - Required or IMLC (LOQ in-hand.)
  • Comfortable with RURAL locations
  • Clean background, no malpractice - Required
  • Controlled Substance (CSR/CDS)
  • DEA
