**Locums Urgent Care openings in St. Louis metro area**
~Locations throughout greater St Louis area.
Assignment Dates: ASAP - Ongoing
Rate: $170/hour
Job Details:
- Location: St. Louis, MO (and surrounding)
- Coverage type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
- Patients per shift: 36-48
- Shifts: Up to 14 per month, 12-hour shifts Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts Saturday and Sunday
- May be moving to 12s on weekends
- Must see patients 6 months and older for urgent care needs
- Required procedures: Suturing, wound care, incision & drainage (I&Ds), splinting, X-ray and ECG over-read, placing IVs
- State-of-the-art centers include lab and mobile X-ray with access to additional resources
- No overtime will be granted
- Admissions required: No
- Multiple providers accepted: Yes
- Facility accepts providers who can work 4 shifts in a row
- EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Active state license required: Yes
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency completion) in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
- Clean history
- BLS required (American Heart Association)
- Must be comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.)
- Must be comfortable with EMR, Epic training provided
