- Certification Requirements - ABEM AOBEM – Board Eligible up to 5 years post grad
- Alternative boards not accepted
- Residency Trained Requirements: Must be a graduate of an ACGME accredited program
- Board Certified docs don’t need an ACLS but must have NIHSS. Sedation (Moderate and Deep) requires a test
- Physician Shift Times: Three 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a)
- NPPA Shift Times: 32.5 hours APP coverage per day (6:30a-4:30p, 10a-10p, 4:30p-3a)
- Annual Volume: 46,000
- Patients Per Day: 124
- % Admitted Patients: 13%
- No Scribe Coverage
- EMR System: Epic
- Active State License Required to Proceed: No, but license must be in process
- Privileging Timeframe 60-90 days from a submitted application
- Expedited Locum Privileges: They do offer IPCN privileges for those with a clean file, license, DEA and submitted application. That process takes about 2 weeks, and they must be on the schedule to request
