Position Details:

Start Date: As soon as Credentialed– Ongoing

Schedule/Availability Requirements:

Shifts Available:

• 6:30am-3:30pm
• 11:00am-8:00pm
• 3:30pm-12:30am
• 9:30pm-6:30am

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible - REQUIRED
• NE license or IMLC (Will accept willing to obtain.) - Highly Preferred
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS - REQUIRED
• Clean Malpractice - Highly Preferred
• Availability at time of name clear - REQUIRED
• Experience: Actively practicing as an Emergency Medicine Physician for the last 12 months or completion of an Emergency: REQUIRED
• Medicine Residency in the last 6 months: REQUIRED
• Training: Completion of an ACGME/AOA approved Emergency Medicine residency program: REQUIRED

Position Details:

• Annual volume? CUMC- IP ED Visits: 7,607 and OP ED Visits: 28, 521; CUMC -UC- IP ED Visits: 75 and OP ED Visits: 23,956
• Single or double coverage? CUMC-UC single doc + APC; CUMC is 36h doc+ APC
• What is the schedule for app’s? CUMC-BM 11a-11p; CUMC-UC: 11a-11p,(occasionally more)
• Does locum supervise app’s? Yes, at NE sites charts are cosigned by Physicians
• Scribes, No
• Admits, 17-20%
• ED responsible for coces: Ye at all campuses except 2
• Specialty Backup/Support: All located at CUMC-BM with and easy transfer center process
• Dictation: EPIC with Dragon
• Just Freestanding ED: yes
• Hospitalist are on site.
• Hospital Medicine always admit
• Duties: Routine ER duties; codes; ER locums don't have a lot of trauma responsibilities
• EMR: EPIC
