Job Details:
• Start Date: January
• Shifts: 3-6 shifts per month, Must be willing to work nights
• Shift Times: 6 AM to 3 PM, 9 AM to 6 PM, 3 PM to 11 PM, 6 PM to 2 AM, 11 PM to 6 AM
• Average Patients per Shift: 16
• Certifications Required: BLS and ATLS
• EMR System: EPIC
• Coverage: Strong double/triple coverage in the ED
• House Codes: ED staff responsible for house codes, secondary to emergencies in the ED
• Nurse Ratio: 4:1
• Patient Demographics:
o 80% Adult
o 19% Pediatric
o 1% Neonatal
• ER Admissions: 30%
• Discharges: 70%
Support Services Available 24 Hours:
• Radiology
• Laboratory
• OR response time
• Anesthesia
• General Surgery
• Orthopedic Surgery
• Vascular Surgery
• Catheterization lab
