Contract Length: 3 months, ongoing
Shift Details: 7a-7p or 7p-7a – flexible – everyone works a mix unless they have a preference for nights
Schedule: 12x12 hour (block) shifts per month
Work Details:
Patients per day: 1-2 patients per hour
Department Description: Provide care to a variety of patients with acute concerns that can vary greatly - mild to complex
EMR: EPIC
Hospital Beds: 25 bed hosp with 4 open ICU. Supportive Admin team. APP’s on site during peak hours
About 19k patients annually - Level II Trauma Center
Practice Setting:
The EM Doc is the first line of defense for this community, they do not have a lot of sub-specialties support and whoever is working in the ED needs to be fully capable of performing all the procedures to stabilize the patient and transfer or admit. They have an Indian reservation close by of 7,000 population that has a lot of violence and drugs and those cases are seen in the ED.

Board Certification: Must be BC in EM for this location
License Required: Active ND license
DEA: Yes, without restrictions
Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days
