Location: A city in Michigan known for its friendly community, historical charm, and agricultural roots. Approximately 30 miles north of Lansing, the capital of Michigan. It's also about 80 miles northwest of Detroit. Both cities offer a range of amenities, cultural attractions, and activities.

Hospital offering a range of healthcare services, including emergency care, surgery, and outpatient services. The hospital is committed to community health and providing quality medical care to its patients.

Opportunity:
  • Looking to build a pool of NP/PAs for sporadic PRN vacation, PTO, sick coverage.2 shifts per week
  • 11a-11p shift
  • 5-7 ED patients admitted to the hospital per day
  • 45 patients per 24 hours average
  • 70% Ed transfer patients per month
  • 10 beds
  • No fast track in ED
  • ED staff responds to house codes, house codes are secondary to ED emergencies
  • All ages
  • EMR: Epic
  • Level IV trauma
  • Deliveries are transferred to OB triage
  • ED is not responsible for monitoring/supervising paramedics/ambulance by radio
  • EMS calls ED to offer report on incoming patients; ambulance unit across road from hospital transfers patients upon request
  • Transfers go to Sparrow Lansing, 19 miles away
  • Air Ambulance Response Time: LifeNet with rapid response for air transport (infrequently needed)
  • APP will not be working autonomously, supervising physician will be present during assignment
  • 24-hour availability for radiology, lab, OR, anesthesia, general surgery
  • Blood bank certified by AABB
  • Credentialing timeframe 90-120 days
