Locums – Georgia Emergency Medicine/Hospitalist Hybrid Job (1 Hour from Atlanta)
- Clinical Role:
- Seeking board certified or truly board eligible emergency medicine physician (family medicine trained is accepted)
- Locum job opening
- 12/24 at 8a-12/26 at 12p - must be available until 3p in case of travel delays for incoming provider
- ER/inpatient hybrid program – you must have recent ER and inpatient experience
- Required procedures: Intubations, Vent Management, Central Lines, Chest Tubes, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Dislocation Reduction, ED Bedside Ultrasound, Lumbar Puncture, Adult Resuscitation, Peds Resuscitation, Procedural Sedation
- Bed Count: 12 Beds total - Acute, Swing and SNF
- Average ER Volume: 11/Daily
- Average Inpatient Volume: 7/monthly
- Average Length of Stay: 2.5 days
- Organization/Area Information:
- Critical access hospital
- Providers have an apartment in a detached building that houses administrative offices and some ancillary departments. The apartment is a new construction (2022) and consists of a small sitting area with TV, Dish Network, computer and PACS station, separate sleeping area with twin size bed, desk, small refrigerator and microwave, and a large bathroom with shower
