Wapiti Medical Staffing is currently seeking a MD/DO Neurology or PM&R with experience in evaluating for Traumatic Brain Injury in Norfolk, VA to assist Optum Serve with VA Disability exams.
Summary: Review pertinent medical history documentation and provide one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension exams for Veterans. The practitioner will capture responses during the exams through a web-based examination form: all documentation will be completed electronically. Completed exams are sent to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.
Position Details
- Part Time - 3 Days/Week, Telehealth/Face to Face Hybrid Schedule

- Local Provider ( Within 100 miles)
- Board Certified OR completed 2 year Residency in specialty (Neurology, Neurological Surgery, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or Psychiatry)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
