Locums – Park Rapids, Minnesota, Emergency Medicine Opening Clinical Role:

  • Dates of Coverage: starting ASAP - **10-12 shifts per month
  • Dates of service: 10/24 & 10/25 1800-0700
  • Will also have 10-12 shifts per month ongoing for either days or nights
  • Schedule: Both days and nights (12-hours shifts)
  • 1-2 Average number of admissions per day
  • ACLS, PALS & ATLS or CALS with Trauma component certification
  • 10,000 Annually ER Volume
  • No Call
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Support Staff: 2 RNs and a CNA
  • Reason for coverage: PT ER physician retiring at end of December and another FT ER physician leaving for private practice beginning of December
  • Site will review General Surgery with EM Experience
  • IM/FM with ED experience - Required
  • MN license active - Required - Will accept IMLC license
  • ACLS, PALS & ATLS or CALS with Trauma component certification - Required. Need either ATLS or CALS w/ Trauma - site does not require both just one or the other
