A main ER and FSED in Plantation, FL are looking for EM coverage starting Dec/Jan with a variety of shifts available. Do you have any availability to help?
- Dec/Jan start - ongoing
- Fair scheduling to include mixture of days, nights, weekdays and weekends
- Cross credential at Main ED and FSED
- Main ER – 6a-4p; 9a-8p; 11a-11p; 4p-3a; 8p-7a
- FSED ER – 6a-6p; 6p-6p
- No call
- Main ER- 150 patients per day, FSED- 60/day
- 35% Admission rate
- 43 bed ER
- Variety of patient ages
- Non trauma center
- Comprehensive stroke and STEMI center
- 3 yr residency program on main site
- Typically low acuity at FSED but wide variety at main ED
- Support staff: Fully staffed with ED nurses and techs, 2-3 APPs per day, 6-8 EM residents per day
- Typical EM procedures
- Typically 2-3 providers on staff per shift
- Requirements: BC or BE ABEM/AOBEM only (EM residency trained), ACLS, BLS, PALS, Active FL license, case logs for last 24 months
