- Clinical Information:
- Inpatient: Back-up airway responsibilities in situations where anesthesiology is unable to assist with an intubation (incredibly rare)
- Outpatient:
- Approximately 35,000 visits with a 13.26% admission rate and a 4% transfer rate
- 20% of patients are < 18 y/o
- 24/7 in-house OB-GYN and anesthesiology coverage
- Level 4 trauma designation
- Medevac services are available for critical transfers with a dispatch to door time averaging 8 minutes
- Should be prepared to manage all standard emergency medicine patients. Additionally, physicians should be procedurally skilled and comfortable taking care of pediatric, traumatically injured, and critically ill patients
- Supporting staff: 36 hours of APC coverage every day
- Required:
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
