Clinical Role:

- Ongoing Need
- Annual Volume- 10,000 +/-
- Physician shifts- (8a-8p)
- APP shifts- Intermittent APP coverage
- Number of beds-9 + 4 Fast Track Bays
- Transfer %- 9
- Admission Rate %-11
- EMR-CPSI
- No Trauma Designation
- Will take FM or IM board with recent EM experience- within 2 years
- Scribes are not available
- ED does not handle admits
- ED will respond to floor codes as a back up to the hospitalist
- Credentialing can be done w/in a couple weeks pending provider cooperation
- Board Certified/ Board Eligible - Required (highly prefer BC)
- Must have minimum 2 years recent experience in EM - Required
- VA License - Required
- COVID Vaccination- Required
- BLS/ACLS - Current at time of submission
- If not EM board certified - will need ACLS, ATLS, BLS and PALS
